Following the announcement of the ‘Delivery plan for recovering access to primary care’ on Tuesday 9 May – CEO of the CCA Malcolm Harrison spoke to Ashish Joshi about the ‘Pharmacy First’ service launch in England.
The plan seeks to support recovery through more services offered from community pharmacy to relieve pressure on general practice. Although the CCA warmly welcomes the investment in community pharmacy, the sector is still experiencing workforce and funding pressures.
