AbbVie are a silver sponsor for the conference and have provided funding and a participant on a panel session. All topics and other panellists have been selected by CCA.

The Conference comes at a pivotal moment for the sector, following the latest round of funding and Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) negotiations, almost a year since the publication of the 10-Year Plan, and just months ahead of the first cohort of independent prescribers qualifying in September 2026.

The agenda will include panel discussions on neighbourhood health and independent prescribing, alongside wider debates on reform, delivery and sustainability.

CCA Conference 2025

The 2026 Conferences follows the success of last year’s inaugural annual Conference. The 2025 Conference heard from Alex Morton, Group Director – Primary Care, NHS England, and Sir Jeremy Hunt, the former Chancellor and Health and Social Care Secretary. It also featured panel discussions on community pharmacy and the ‘left shift’ and medicines supply chain resilience.
