A postcode lottery: the missed opportunities for local commissioning

There is significant variation in the level of local commissioning and the patchwork of different services commissioned across the country is vast. This variation suggests there is a significant opportunity to increase community pharmacy commissioning in many parts of the country, increasing patient access and reducing pressure on GPs.
