CCA response to the Public Accounts Committee – Managing the NHS backlog

The CCA responded to the Public Account Committee’s inquiry into managing the NHS backlog. In our response we propose standardising provision and access to care, ensuring effective resource deployment across the health sector, and holistic workforce planning, to manage the backlog of care, and to support patients and the wider health system.
