CCA responds to the Health and Social Care Committee inquiry into Pharmacy

The CCA welcomes the Health and Social Care Committee’s timely inquiry into pharmacy. Our responses are from a community pharmacy perspective. Amongst other things, we highlight the urgent need to address funding and investment for the sector to sustain the pharmacy network, deliver the ‘efficiencies’ the Government committed to, and ensuring that there is a roadmap to utilise the skills of Independent Prescribers.
