The impact of ‘Pseudo’ Distance Selling Pharmacies

The CCA’s distance selling pharmacies paper outlines how ‘pseudo DSPs’ are impacting access to local care. That CCA found that despite the DSPs being contractually obligated to provide medicines to patients remotely, by post or courier, anywhere in the country, the vast majority (72%) are failing to do so, threatening ‘bricks and mortar’ pharmacies which are closing at an alarming rate.
